1904 eröffnete die Bäckerei Conditorei Stocker an der Weinbergstrasse in Zürich ihren Betrieb. Das 100-jährige Jubiläum im 2004 bot eine gute Gelegenheit, Rückblick zu halten. Obwohl sich in diesen über 100 Jahren einiges verändert hat, haben wir in unserem Betrieb bewährte Grundwerte immer gepflegt und weiter entwickelt:
  • Nach wie vor wollen wir unseren Kunden mit frischen Produkten täglich Freude bereiten
  • Nach wie vor tragen wir unserer Ökologie und Umwelt nachhaltig Sorge
  • Nach wie vor wollen wir mit unseren Produkten alle fünf Sinne ansprechen und unser Firmenleitbild umsetzen
  • All das nennen wir Kontinuität über Generationen. Dabei galt es immer, an einem Strick zu ziehen, Visionen einzubringen und auch umzusetzen.

Mit dem Historiker Mark Wüst ist es gelungen, die herausfordernde Zeit des 20. Jahrhunderts zu durchleuchten und ein Stück Zürcher Geschichte im Kontext eines Handwerksbetriebes zu erforschen. Entstanden ist ein aufschlussreicher, interessanter und umfassender Bericht mit interessanten Informationen und vielen Bildern.

An dieser Stelle danke ich all unseren Kundinnen und Kunden für ihre langjährige Treue. Und ein grosses Dankeschön gebührt auch allen unseren Mitarbeitenden für ihren tollen Einsatz.
